How can i set the windows hard key...

How can i set the windows hard key to take me to the today screen instead of the start menu i already tried
start menu, settings,personal, buttons, but there it doesnt give me an option for the windows hard key it only shows the send key.

how can i make the soft key on the left that says phone be set instead to lock the device.

You could probably use AEButtonPlus:

Or you could probably use the keyboard config app, its free and many useful functions for all hw buttons

Add the start key, set it to emulate the end key. Done.

how many ways do you need to get to the home screen ya know lol

you can assign soft keys by using advanced config.. if you use CHT its a native faeture to change left soft key..

rhodium keyboard controller is definitely the way to go. using that you can make the double click of a key do another command and even a triple click of a key do a different thing.
