Earpiece Crackle

So my earpiece started crackling today. I've had this on my previous two phones, as well as this specific TP2 but I was fortunate to have a refurb TP2 in my possession at the time that I dissembled swapped earpieces with. When the earpiece started to crackle on my Titan the screen died two days later. Let's hope this is a minor issue that I can live with till my next phone, hopefully around the holiday season. Anyone in the same boat?

I've read elsewhere that this condition is an annoying attribute of the network, not hardware.

that can happen when u connect to the analog headphone jack
