maybe too many sms or email? same thing happened to me when I accidentally downloaded thousands of emails from my yahoo account. I've been on the same mr x rom since it's release in april. it's been working so well, I'm afraid to change it.

I dunno what might have caused mighty to slow on you, but it's been really good to me. Do what chardog said and check for too many texts and email maybe. Also do you run CHT? Changing a few settings on that sped up sense for me. I've also heard that task manager (the top right thingy you can use to kill processes) is kind of a resource hog and will slow you down.

So, I'm just curious as to why having too many texts or e-mails causes problems? They're relatively small files, unless you've got huge attachments. Is it a Sense issue or a WM issue?

Definately agree. There are a lot bunch of variables involved. Which OC program , ROM, usage, and your phone (CPU). All of these play a role in how high you can OC. I for example can only OC to 729Mhz.( very HAPPY  ), my friends TP2 can OC well into the 800's. He regularly uses his TP2 at 806.4 all day. While mine insta-freezes at anything above 729Mhz. But even at 729Mhz, compared to 528Mhz it's a whole different TP2. I use OCT 1.5.

My setting are :

729.6
1
100
0
50
3

Looks like the HTC sense loads the whole txt msgs in the buffer, even if there're 100 pages or 1000 pages. They are not doing one page only then the next page... So it will take a very long time when you actually have a lot txt msgs.

Out of curiosity, if Sense is disabled (using just the Today screen WM6.5) does this same issue exist?

I've never tried to run without Sense. But I don't think the microsoft mail program has the same problem. Correct me if I'm wrong:grin:

What works best for me:
- OCT 1.5, installed to SD Card (Msm7kCpuSpeed caused nothing but grief).
- Overclocked to 768, interval 1000 with ALL other settings at 0.
- Disabled Winmo start menu and use QuickMenu (saves about 25MB of RAM)

She flies.

Re: Overclocking made it MORE stable?! Am I crazy?

I can only get 748.8MHz, one step up, the phone will lockup no matter what other settings are. (at least when set to 1 step) I have to reset by push button. Just make sure not to do disable re-enable in the gui, which will store the settings, and I imagine that will have to do hard reset to get it back, I install the OCT in main memory instead of sd card, so can't pull out sd card. I should change it.
