Can I get some help? My TP2 has been working flawlessly on Boost since I followed your instructions. All of a sudden, today, whenever I try to use the internet or Titanium Weather, I get a message saying that "Your plan does not include wireless web or your balance is not suficient to cover the wireless web charge". I have been using the pay as you go plan and have plenty of money in my account. This problem just started today. Has Boost changed something? Or do you have any tips?

Are you still having this problem?

I tried it every which way
I tried to register directly when switching from iDen to CDMA then I registered a cheap Motorolla W385 CDMA phone had it registered for a 12 hours and tried to switch the phone when I gave them MEID number the CS Rep punched in the number and told me the THE SYSTEM DOESN'T ALLOW HIM TO REGISTER THE PHONE because it's not a BOOST phone

if someone succeeds registering the TP2 to boost please post and update
thx

I was able to register a tp2 on boost and many others that followed this guide.

Before yes but try it now
I hear that boost integrated their databases with Sprint and all the sprint phones get rejected

I got mine activated onto boost yesterday with no problems. Some ESN's just don't seem to work. I guess I got lucky.

Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost

I registered a Sprint Touch Pro a couple of days ago on Boost for the 35 cents daily unlimited data Pay As You Go and I was able to get it done with a lot of effort. You just have to get the right rep I believe. First time I had done it.

Basically borrow an ESN or IMEI/SIM number from someone with an old Boost phone. I have a cousin that has an old IMEI/SIM he lent me the numbers. Got the account set up. Called back in 20 minutes and migrated the phone to CDMA. They gave me the info that my walkie talkie wouldn't work yadda yadda. The lady asked what phone it was and I just said it was one with a keyboard.

Configuring the EPST was a pain and I still couldn't get the data to work even though I followed exactly the configurations found on Howard Forums. I ended up taking off my EnergyRom and putting on the original stock sprint rom. Luckily after the cab installer installed everything it actually did a configuration to the epst and everything worked.

Now I've got a cheap data plan that I can use my lappy with. The coverage isn't the best but I'm sure it will do me good enough for now.

That's awesome news! I just got my phone ordered, should be here some time next week. I can't wait to get rid of my incognito, although it was a huge step up from the iden Motorola i465. The iden service was very unreliable where I live.

got my phone today and was able to get it activated without any problems. when i called CS i told the guy my phone broke and i wanted to put another phone on my account. he asked for the dec and i gave it to him. after a little while of silence he says well this isn't a boost moblie phone its showing up as an htc but i was able to get it added to your account. then he walked me through the programming. didn't have any trouble with data or mms, they worked immediately. love this phone! love the $50 unlimited plan with shrinkage even more! thanks for the info!!:thumbleft:

euro as you can see covertpyro was able to do it. Just keep on trying and youll get lucky and get the right rep to do it. Hopefully you have it on boost by now.

covertpyro if you have any issues with it just let me know, but my guide pretty much states everything.

This is a guide based off my experiences on how to get everything working properly on boost mobile. This is not my work nor do i take credit for it i was helped by many. im just putting it together in one place for every one that needs it. Oh and i seen all over craigslist and ebay that they sell guides on how to do this everyone that learns from here please do not try to sell this instead help out who ever needs it just like you needed it.

1) You need to have a boost CDMA account active
* CDMA, yes boost has CDMA just like sprint. ** CDMA not IDEN in other words no walkie talkie.
1.5) if you have a walkie talkie account just call boost Customer service (C.S.) and tell the rep you want to transfer your account to the cdma side
2) Call boost mobile C.S. and tell them you want to swap phones on your account for whatever reason you can make up i.e. phone broke or fell on water. Just tell them its a red phone or something and it works
3) Do not tell them that your new phone is a sprint phone they will tell you cant do it not possible. Dont get worried it will work
4) They will ask you for the phones info give it to them (if they ask u if its a sprint phone deny it all the way) then they will tell you what numbers to punch in follow that exactly the way they say.
5. Once it is done wait a few while the phone gets completely activated on their system. At first text messages might not work and data as well. just give it till the end of that day it should work but if it doesn just wait a little bit.
6. Then make sure you carrier provisioned it make sure to select Sprint.
7. Run the Sprint prl update to make sure you get data working.
** Now for the big one everyone has been having problems with MMS**
Never mind i forgot how to do that one sorry . LOL :toothy10:
8. On a custom rom (i use Mighty rom FF) install the Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79 cab that i atached at the bottom and do exactly like this
*Install the cab to your phones memory
*Soft reset
*Go to Messages
*All messages
*Menu
* MMS options or Pics/Video Options
*Servers
* Click on NEW
*Server Name = put whatever name you want
*Gateway = leave blank
*Port number leave at 80
*Server address: http://mm.myboostmobile.com
*Connect via: Sprint
*Send limit= leave at 500K
*Press done
* Under setting select the name you created and then click on Set as default
* Exit out and soft reset just to be on the safe side then your should be able to send/receive MMS
9) You should have everything working correctly from here its back to customizing however you feel like.

I added the soft reset cab also just to make it easier just install it doesnt matter either your phones memory or sdcard and look for the icon in the start menu press it and it will soft reset

Oh and foreveryone that bought the phone "flashed to boost mobile" there isnt such thing they just did as stated above. There is no flashing to boost and there isnt a boost mobile rom.

If i forgot something let me know ill add it to here or maybe someone else will. If you have any either question just ask.

***If you dont succeed to activate your phone on boost the first time just keep trying but for no reason whatsoever snitch on the rest of us by telling the Boost C.S. rep " I know someone else that has the tp2 connected to boost so it is possible" after they tell you its not possible. Thats the same thing as being a snitch.

*If I helped anyone in any way all I ask for is for you to hit the thanks button thats all*

1st theres no software to get the phone on boost theres is no flashing to boost mobile all those people that sell that service "flash your tp2 to boost" are doing the exact same thing listed on my guide.

2nd) Your iden account wont work you need to transfer your account to the cdma side of boost (no chirp).

3rd) Follow the steps in my guide and your phone will work and make sure you install the correct acrosoft and the mms will work.

4th) if everything works dont be shy to come back and hit the thanks button
