1.5) if you have a walkie talkie account just call boost Customer service (C.S.) and tell the rep you want to transfer your account to the cdma side
2) Call boost mobile C.S. and tell them you want to swap phones on your account for whatever reason you can make up i.e. phone broke or fell on water. Just tell them its a red phone or something and it works
3) Do not tell them that your new phone is a sprint phone they will tell you cant do it not possible. Dont get worried it will work
4) They will ask you for the phones info give it to them (if they ask u if its a sprint phone deny it all the way) then they will tell you what numbers to punch in follow that exactly the way they say.
First thx for the guide

I just got a TP2 but don't have an CDMA Account with boost only iDen
so how do I do the number one step?

will the Boost CS rep ask me for my TP2 phone info at this step or they'll just transfer my account from iDen to CDMA without any questions ? and then I call second time and give them the phone info

Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost

eurolinux you have to first setup the cdma account which you have to setup with an actual boost phone any cheap boost cdma phone will work. After you have the account setup for atleast 2-3 hrs ( i recommend 1 day) then you call back boost C.S. and do the phone transfer on the account.

let me know if you have any issues.

also if you really like the guide then to show appreciation hit the thanks button.

Are you asking how to update for data or the mms setting?
Are you on custom or stock rom?

You can try doing it directly to the tp2 instead of having to purchase a boost branded phone its just that is easier to setup the account with a boost phone i guess just try it you might get lucky. Youll be able to receive text but when you send text the receiver might not receive them at the begining but after 24hrs everything should be setup with boost network properly. Good luck

Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost

Can I get some help? My TP2 has been working flawlessly on Boost since I followed your instructions. All of a sudden, today, whenever I try to use the internet or Titanium Weather, I get a message saying that "Your plan does not include wireless web or your balance is not suficient to cover the wireless web charge". I have been using the pay as you go plan and have plenty of money in my account. This problem just started today. Has Boost changed something? Or do you have any tips?

I tried this trick but the rep was not able to register the TP2 when I gave him the meid number
he knew right away that the TP2 is not a boost phone by the number I gave him even when I was insisting that it's a boost Sanyo Icognito
the rep told me that the system is not allowing him to complete the process and that it's rejecting the phone
he also told me the he can register phones that have "ESN" or "DC" numbers starting with 268435

This is just an update
I wonder if it will work when I register a cheapo Motorolla CDMA boost phone first

Re: GUIDE FOR Sprint TP2 on boost

As of now it is IMPOSIBLE TO REGISTER HTC TP2 TO BOOST MOBILE !!!
I tried it every which way
I tried to register directly when switching from iDen to CDMA then I registered a cheap Motorolla W385 CDMA phone had it registered for a 12 hours and tried to switch the phone when I gave them MEID number the CS Rep punched in the number and told me the THE SYSTEM DOESN'T ALLOW HIM TO REGISTER THE PHONE because it's not a BOOST phone

if someone succeeds registering the TP2 to boost please post and update
thx
