Re: Airplane Mode via Registry
You can go to Settings/Personal/Buttons/End Key and select the End Button to toggle Airplane Mode on/off with a press and hold of the End Key/Button.......

I exported my registry then exported it while in airplane mode, then compared the two. I thought that would be simple but so far I am unable to put it in airplane mode via the registry...I am wondering if I have to change more than one setting... |

HKLM\System\State\Phone\Status when changed to DWORD 2097200 makes the signal strength icon change to look like the radio is off; however i was still able to make calls... Here is what my RegSnap comparison (flightmode off vs. flightmode on) looked like...I have tried most of these as a single change to try and put it into flightmode with no luck...maybe there is a combination of these that is needed. I thought there would just be 1 setting to turn the radio on/off and the rest would follow... Code:

I'm curious. Can you not activate Airplane mode the usual ways? Are you trying to make a shortcut? |

i travel a lot - so when i am on the plane i set my phone to airplane mode, disable Sense, and turn off my overclock. this is to make watching movies as smooth as possible for the longest time (preserve resources and battery life). since i travel a lot...it gets old doing this. so - i was hoping to make a toggle script to go between normal operation and the above mentioned...but if i cant set airplane mode then i cant make the script =) |

Could you set flight mode so it activates with the long press end key through settings and then write your script to activate the long press end key thus activating flight mode? |
