Re: asurion replacing TP2 with Imagio
Any idea what the TP2 VZW replacement is now? I read somewhere Asurion no longer is carrying the Droid. I'd take a droid 2 as a replacement (I want a keyboard)

Re: asurion replacing TP2 with Imagio
I just got off the phone with them. They offered an Imagio and when I said I needed a keyboard the offered a LG Ally. But I can't use an Android phone.
Has anyone had any luck with a phone on Ebay. I checked and they have "New" phones there but they are asking 350. That seems high for a phone that is no longer being produced. Thanks, Lennty |

Re: asurion replacing TP2 with Imagio
I think your best bet would be to take the Imagio and sell it on eBay, then buy what you want. You should be able to get $250 to $300 for it if you keep it in the box and sell it as "new." That will give you $160 to $210 toward the price of a TP2 (after the $89 deductible).

Re: asurion replacing TP2 with Imagio
So If I have to change models to an Ally (which is a shitty phone) for a keyboard and change the OS to Android, what does Asurion cover the insurance on?
I have HUNDREDS of dollars in medical software for windows mobile that I would need to repurchase in an Android form. Is that covered if they can't replace my TP2? That's in addition to cases and accessories. |

Take the Imagio like the previous posters said and trade it or sell it to get another TP2 if you don't like the Imagio.
