of course you can re-install it... the stock version of Opera is 9.7.. the upgraded, but not used by everyone version, is Opera 10..
if you use 9.7, just install to Device and it should prompt you that it has to remove the previous version 1st..just click ok... and if you dont back up your bookmarks, or sync them from your PC already, youll lose them when you re-install..

if you want whatever Opera feels like is their newest-Opera 10 build xxxx then just goto m.opera.com on your phone.. 9.7 can probably be downloaded this way to by going to older versions link |

internet explorer? really? rotfl! this happens to me sometimes. go and delete this folder windows/opera9/cache. that always works for me
