You got it man!!!! just like your example, if you can see your Wifi connection,router,signal strength - then DATA will not run!

and just so you know, your on sprint, unless theres a limit in your data plan, you dont have to worry about overages.. i use 30GBs of data a month on sprint- no charges

sorry to bump all up in to yalls combo, but i have a question. ive got a "g" router. it works fine with my touch pro2. im thinking about getting a second router. the new ones are wireless "n". is my tp2 compatible with that?

You might consider a dual band router just to be sure all wireless in your house is covered. N Routers are backwards compatible with B/G devices, but problems can develop if both N and B/G devices are in use. See this article:

Exactly!

Look into the Lynksys WRT610N router. Dual simultaneous B/G & N. It allows you to run a dedicated N network for the machines that can use it without dragging that network down with G and B connections. Those get handled by another dedicated channel in the same router.
