upgraded to 6.5 and now phone freezes up

I cant say the phone never froze with 6.1 but ever since I put 6.5 on I have had to hard power down the phone more than once a week. I noticed my texts were adding up so I started clearing them out. Either way now the phone will freeze up and I can not change screens - anyone else havng this problem. I do have 4 email accounts and the htc weather thing running. But still I give it enough time to complete tasks and still freexing up - any ideas? Thanks...
