Re: assing photo for unknown caller?
proll not the easiest way, but find the current picture in the windows folder in the file explorer, take the picture you want and rename it whatever the current picture is called. its prolly avatar1.png or something like that. anyone out there feel free to correct me.

Re: assing photo for unknown caller?
I would have no idea what the current photo is.. its a generic silhouette and is used for a lot of things so I wouldnt want to rename a photo to that as it would change a lot of things... any other ideas??

Re: assing photo for unknown caller?
I don't get too many calls from unknown callers... And I do remember there was an option for that on one of my old phones... But I do believe it was a simple dumb phone. I don't think I've done that since I left my Samsung A460.

Re: assing photo for unknown caller?
the only way i can think of being able to assign a contact photo is if it's already saved in your address book. try adding a new contact with the name Unknown Caller, assign a photo, and then save. i would only think this will work if the caller ID does not associate a phone number with the Unknow Caller call because sometimes, even though it says Unknown Caller, it still shows a number.

that one might actually work.. of course not imputting a phone number tho would be neccessary.. another way probably: but would also affect Unavialable or Blocked Ids as well.. the pis are located in \my doc\my pics by default on most roms... youll see theres about 9 of them... only 1 is set up to be used as the one for unknown Caller etc... your gonna have to block your id and call your phone or have a friend do it so you can see which it is exactly.. but im pretty sure its the Male w/o the Hat... and above was right.. theyre named ~avitar-#.png BlockedID or Unknown caller.. are people dialing *67 before your number.. Unavailable Caller means they have it blocked by whatever provider they have-im assuming only landlines can do this one..hence, you see that, its usually a sales call..
