How to remove installed cab files

I loaded a few cab files and now I am having problems with my HTC TP2. I can't get to the settings to remove any programs. It only shows the word settings at the top and is blank I will hit the home icon and nothing just the word home at the top.

Once I loaded a few cab files where do they go. I installed them all to my storage card but I see no trace of anything for certain cabs except for the cab file itself.

Newbie,

Thanks

From your home screen... if you slide over to the right do you see the settings page?

Re: How to remove installed cab files

When I scroll to the right I get all the way to stock quotes, then it locks on the settings. Now I see settings across the top, but below I have Tab here to add a stock quote. Now I cant scroll the other way anymore.

Re: How to remove installed cab files

Doesn't look good...
You might want to make sure you backup your contacts... Either to outlook via synch... or to Microsoft Myphone... Also make sure your pics and vids are going to the memory card.
It looks like you might need to do a hard reset.

Re: How to remove installed cab files

If you're synching with outlook All your contacts should be in your computer.
Myphone is automatic and you don't have to think about it. But I would'nt install it till you hard reset unless you actually need it right now.

I'll get you the hard reset steps in a moment.

Re: How to remove installed cab files

To perform a Touch Pro 2 hard reset
1. With the device turned off, press and hold the TALK/SEND, END and POWER buttons (simultaneously) until you see this message on the screen.

2. Release the TALK/SEND, END and POWER buttons.
3. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
Using Clear Storage

Re: How to remove installed cab files

You can set it to back up certain things including text messages but you have limited space then it starts tweaking...

You can find it on the microsoft marketplace for free... That's probably the most updated version.
