Beginner HTC Touch Pro 2 Questions

wow ive never seen such a extensive post in a long time, thanks a lot, i'll give it a shot and see how it goes

one quick question, since on windows 7 when i open up my phone's memory, "/", it doesn't show the windows file so should i copy the manila files from total commander onto my memory card, then onto my computer? and...im wondering, could this also be used to my advantage for possibly fixing the problem i had with the missing/screwed up icon on the taskbar for "Pegasus Dusk Theme"?
