Tp2 3g ?

ok i was recently fishing around the sprint website and i found that if you goto buy or upgrade to a phone and you look a the TP2 details it said that it is 3G Capable. so i called sprint and they said that it wasnt 3G only Evdo capable..... is it possible to get 3g on CDMA on the TP2 i can get it with an ATT sim card in GSM

EVDO is 3G. How ever even though it does have a Sim slot you can not get 3G in the US...... that means no 3G on AT&T or T-mobile just 1x. However it is a world phone and will get 3G service outside the country.
