Why does my TP2 take forever to switch to landSc. mode w/ texting?

It takes my phone forever to switch to landscape mode or really do anything when it comes to texting. Does this happen for anyone else?

It's freaking ridiculous. ( I'm on stock rom. )

He did say My TP2 in the title of the thread.

I just flashed to MR a couple of days ago, but it was also happening with stock 6.5 before that. And to make matters worse, when I slide out my keyboard and it switches to landscape, the cursor disappears and I have to click the text entry box to get it back. Even worse is sometimes (maybe 50/50) I can't click on the text entry box and get that cursor at all without going back to portrait.

Very annoying indeed.

Do you have a ton of texts? 500+? Sense doesn't like that. Go to tools and clear mms/sms. If not, I dunno. I have no lag.

I keep the total number of texts below 50 at all times

lately my phone has been switching when switching to landscape...i'll open a text and wen i open the keyboard it completely locks up, i cant turn off the screen and if its on the charger the red charging light stays on.

its annoying because half the time i just have to wait for it to switch, the other half i end up realizing that it actually froze /:

I used CMYLXGOs disable htc sms cab. Works great now using native winmo messaging. Try it and if you didnt like it, simply unistall the cab
