Sound related question.

Is there a way to turn off the sound notification for when you switch from or to Airplane mode? Also turn off the sound when turning on the phone?

You can use Advanced Config to turn off the startup sound (search here for it). As for the other, just turn down the volume before you switch and back up when you're done.
