Does the TP2 become less stable with age?

im on stock rom, had my tp2 since december also and my stuff ALWAYS freezes or gets stuck inbetween screens. i dont have emails or texts saved. i have everything saved on my sd card, yet for the last month ive been having issues with trying to switch from say texting to the phone menu like half the screen will show half of each. or if i try to press a button it'll freeze on that screen and next thing i know ive been taken to the settings or some other random menu my phone hasnt been damaged in any way.
