did you choose the correct encryption type? wep, wpa, wpa2, etc...
I think some types dont work on the tp2

^^^What he said. The right key won't work with the wrong encryption setup. Even if they are both set for WPA, for instance, and one is TKIP and the other AES, they won't work.
