Keeping sent emails

Can somoen tel me how to save sent emails on the phone. Im not using outlook im just using the plain email setup that we get no matter what rom you flash. I have the save sent emails checked but its never worked. Is it supposed to? Do i have to use outlook? Thanks

Try tools, manage folders, & then check "sent items." That is what worked for me to sync the emails I was sending through my yahoo account set up on my phone. The sent folder only appears to show emails sent directly through yahoo.
