.

If a mini-usb headphone set works with HTC phones then there's no reason that a mini-usb adapter shouldn't work.

Really? Should I be looking for a certain make that qualifies as "all other makes"? The General Electric mini usb -> stereo audio adapter I have in my hand is not compatible with the HTC usb.

It may be wired slightly different, that's why I suggested the motorla USB, they generally have all the wires hooked up, where as the cheaper one's may not have the extra wire grounded or connected where it should be.

Seidio sells one apparently btw

This one has a customer review of using it on an HTC phone..

I just typed "mini usb 3.5mm adapter htc" into google and found a bunch.

That Seidio one just makes me skeptical because it looks exactly like the one on Amazon that says it falls apart in a week. I'll try one of the motorola ones that has a lot of good reviews.

I can't seem to maintain a discussion with you without wanting to argue. Just forget it. I found a few to try, and I'll have a chat with T-Mobile tomorrow.

Re: Stereo Audio Mini USB Adapter

here ya go man....

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00..._ya_os_product

Looking back tho it is the one that might be too large for ya... I had the same exact problem you do looking for any smaller one that worked.. had a few not work at all and 1 kinda work if i moved it right ended up with a few of these about 6 months ago for my diamond(no 3.5mm built in) now i got a sprint tp2 with the 3.5 built in so now one is for Backpacking w/ the diamond and the other is my tv-out adapter
And they do work on my diamond and tp2...well not the tv out on diamond
