People question.

So, Just got a TP2, and everything I've seen on the net shows a people tab where every contact has simple buttons pop uo (message, email, call) but in mine, i click a favorite, it automatically calls them. Is this just a newer people tab than what ive seen on the net, or am I not seeing a setting?

screenshot 3 - if this is the people tab you think you should have, thats Manila 2.1s people tab i believe.. and not in your device

tap the pic, it calls them... tap the name underneath, you get the pop up...

and just FYI, you can set the tap on the screen to call, text, or email if you like and avoid the popup box.. ie, say you only ever txt someone on your contact tab, you can set the screen tap on their pic to open a new msg to them, instead of calling which is the default setting

How do I change it to messaging instead of calling? I cant find the setting ;(

when you tap on the empty slot to add a contact, you tap the person's name in the search list, then it'll say in microscopic text under their name on the next screen "Select number/email to use" and you can have it:

• View Contact Card
• Call a number
• "Message" which is text
• E-mail

...depending on what info you've got entered for the contact, of course.
