Need to remove something cooked into rom...

I'm running an older rom with CHT 1.7. I love everything about my current setup, really just want to update to CHT 1.8. But 1.7 doesn't show on the list of apps to uninstall. And installing 1.8 just gives "mismatch" errors. How can I get rid of 1.7? I was just going to delete from reg and cross my fingers but I can see that causing issues.

Hmmmm, I didn't have any issues installing 1.8.5 over 1.7, are you installing the 1.8.5 editor as well..??

Thanks for asking the question, made me go back and check again to see. I got a little distracted here at work and looks like I only installed editor 1.8 and not the actual CHT 1.8 itself=P Now the error makes sense since I have 1.8 editor trying to work with CHT 1.7.

damn work getting in way of tweaking ppc. lol
