No SOUND At all, Need to Restart everytime....Help me please

I have been using Touch Pro 2 from last 7 months. Around 4 moths back i upgraded to Win 6.5. After that i am facing a particular problem. Sometimes i get an error of "Device.exe" and then all the sound from the phone is mute.It doesnt play any sound and even if i answer/make a call, i cannot hear the other party's sound or even when their phone is ringing. There is only vibration. I tried using it with headset, and there is absolutely no sound. After resarting the phone everything is fine. But the error appears the very next day or the day after that, and i just restart the phone. I tried Hard Reset and installing the official ROM from HTC website, still the problem persists. The only software i installed after replacing the ROM were NetCF3.5 & Advanced Configuration Tool v3.3 only. I highly doubt if it causes this problem as i was using it in Win6.1 when i bought the device.
The people at HTC downgraded my device to Win 6.1 and asked me to use it for a week and see if the error comes. I am using it for almost week, and the problem is not there.
Can someone suggest what the problem could be, as i dont like 6.1 as i am now used to 6.5. I dont think HTC will be able to help me soon. Someone please help me in this case.

Maybe your initial 6.5 flash was bad...

i agree, if it is working fine with 6.1 and didnt work with your 6.5...i would try flashing the 6.5 upgrade again.

I would recommend to just unlock it and go to a good custom rom like EnergyRom or so. I had my TP2 for just long enough to charge it before I flashed to custom. Stock roms suck and the companies that make em' just copy their work from the people here and at xda anyway.
