So after an hour on the phone with Sprint they have informed me that the issue has yet to be resloved. They said there was a ticket open for an issue that they did resolve on the 15th but there is still a seperate issue they are working on in my area. They said as of right not there is no eta on when it will be fixed but it should be within the month.

This is simply ludacris.

Assuming this is due to the installation of the 4G tower, Why should the 3G users have to suffer? All this bullcrap just because Sprint does not comprehend how to multi-task?

We should get some kind compensation for all this aggrivation (Come on Sprint, send me a teddy bear). Or at the very least, give us an actual date this will be resolved, don't give me that bs speal of "It will be fixed by the end of the month"

I got sick of waiting, So I just grabbed up a new Weather App (Weather4me), It works great actually, and with some slight modding and installation, it can replace the default HTC Weather Tab

This problem is bigger than Sprint. I am having the exact same problem with my TP2 on U.S. Cellular and I know someone with the same problem on Verizon that just got the HTC Incredible. The my location no longer gives us our location.

I am just heading out to walk my dogs, but as soon as I get back I will post the process to get this to work. Should be no more then like 2 or 3hrs (at the most).

Don't worry though, I promise it will be the first thing I do when I get back to my house.

Shit....my bad man. Here ya go (I ended up stoppin by my moms and she had a new computer for me, so spent all last night setting that up)

so is there any updates on this? starting to think that OTA weather updates are for major us city's only i.e Cleveland, Columbus, Cincy ect. all of us little town folks might just be SOL

it may be that way, but it should at least show the current weather for the closest large city. I live in a city next to san diego and on some roms it would show my city, but on others it would show san diego when the weather was updating correctly.

ya, only if I connect via wifi do I get my town's weather to update
