I have to wonder if the seller flashed an incompatible ROM or radio to this phone....

If you want to post the eBay auction link, maybe we could advise you better.

But, please act before the 30-day PayPal period.
You never responded or addressed my points. So, what's the real story here?

We can enter bootloader mode and flash the ROM all day long, but nothing seems to be bring the device out of the never-ending reboot loop.

Thanks!
Have you tried:
Powering the device down and/or removing the battery until it shuts off completely. Then press and hold talk, end, and power butons. Then while holding these down insert the battery and follow prompts and hard reset.
If not try it.

Re: Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 in reboot loop

@willysp...Although I appreciate your advice and suggestions your implication is not appreciated.

The "real story" is that the General Manager purchased these devices over 3 months ago. The devices worked fine when we received them and we were searching for ROMs to flash so that we could eventually install a software program onto the devices. I placed the Sprint HTC TP2 device in bootloader mode to see if the seller had already unlocked the device. After exiting bootloader mode, the device went into the reboot cycle and has been that way ever since.

Yes, Horndoctor, I followed the steps exactly. The device asked for confirmation of a hard reset which I did, but it is still stuck in the endless reboot loop.

Sometime it's just bad hardware and something is wrong, I think you are beating a dead horse at this point.

Re: Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 in reboot loop

at this point, i suggest you call sprint and tell them you're phone is stuck in the bootloader...and see about getting a replacement.

or see if the ebay seller will take it back and refund you what you paid.

Is the red reset button inside the battery door stuck? Try pushing it a few times.
