How add different icons to the Home screen - HTC TP2 ?

I found a way to do it, there is no need to flash with a different version of rom in order to change the icons on the home screen. I overlooked it before...
Click Menu then click "Remove quick links" and remove whatever you don't want there then hit done. After that any app can be added to the emptied space....
