I agree....if I could get an HD2 from Sprint I would be all over it!

Re: Strong Points of the TP2 [over Android]

just read every post... great entertainment! I was using WM for like 5 years, finally switched to Android... I forgot how fast a phone can be. No lockups, no SOD, tons of free apps in the market place... I'm happy with my Android - but it's all about personal preference.

I switched to android about a week ago. Supper fast I haven't had to reset my phone at all. I still use my tp 2 but only for school because its recognized as a safe device to log in to schools wifi.

Winmo is too slow and laggy. Even on the hd2 its laggy despite all of the great specs the phone has ( trust me i have used the device).. And honestly the only reason most of us chance roms is because they never work right in the first place.. I am in no way a winmo hater (check my sig). I have been rocking winmo since the tmobile mda, and i was a diehard. But its just time to move on

And as far as the monthly bill.. im willing to pay the extra money if it means i have a phone that just works
I agree with you 100%

Re: Strong Points of the TP2 [over Android]

Wow after reading all of this thread I want a EVO but it wont work with my sprint plan. Are there any other fast none HTC Android phones with a large screen? If not I bet there will be soon. I have been on WM since the Hitachi G1000, been flashing roms and cooking my own.
I'm fet up with the lag and I agree with everyones negative comments about WM here. I hate spending the time to customize my new phone just to make it they way it should have been out of the box. As for all of the good comments here about WM, most of them are not true. Im moving on! Windows Mobile can die a slow painful death with the die hards. Maby I will will eBay my new TP2.
