Dang it- might have to go back to 6.1- can't get coreplayer working with 6.5

I unlocked and flashed my Verizon Touch Pro 2 to Mr. X's fixed Verizon MR2 ROM and I really like the user interface esp with coOkie's 1.8.5.

The problem is that Coreplayer 1.3.6 is having issues with tearing when playing video files that I didn't have with 6.1.

Would anyone have any suggestions as to how to get this working properly? I've tried loading the Leo Drivers and also hard reset the device.
