Disable 1+ Dialing Help!!

I haven't found any fixes to this yet. I'm using Sprint Basics Rom 1.3. Is there anyway to disable 1+ dialing? I went into Menu, Global Smart Dialing and that option is NOT checked.

This is what it's doing, when someone sends me a phone number via text or email, I can click on the number and it brings me to the attached screen.
However, when I click MAKE CALL, it doesn't do anything. The only way it works is if i manually enter a 1 in front of the number.

Not a big deal, but when you are driving and on the road alot, it makes it a pain.

With the TP1, it didn't have this interface. It just said verify the number and you could hit Call.

Any help would be appreciated.

settings/personal/phone/cdma services: scroll down to automatic prepend and check your settings.

My options don't have automatic prepend in there. See screen shot.

hmmm, maybe someone smarter will come along. You might have to add a registry key to see it. Have you asked in the ROM's thread?

There is a cab out there from Ninja Duck, i'm going to try that one. it's supposed to add those setting to your options. We'll see.

I'm trying to find the same thing, need to get rid of "1".
I remember in my old Touch it was somewhere in the settings, but now on TP2 stock rom(6.5) Spring can find it.

lol i see this question asked all the time. that "1" drives me crazy, this is how to get rid of it, no cabs or anything needed... This feature can easily be turned off.
1) go to the phone dialer
2) select "menu"
3) scroll down to "Global Smart Dialing"
4) Uncheck "Enable Global Smart Dialing"
5) Enjoy!
