Stop Blinking!

The little green led on the left of the speaker won't stop blinking when there are unread messages in my inbox. Is there any way to turn it off? I'm using the WM 6.5.1 Energy rom from 23.Apr.2010 if that helps.

Re: Stop Blinking!

I went into "settings > Sounds & notifications" and unchecked the "flash light for" option in "Messaging: New e-mail message" but the light still flashes! Then I went through and tried unchecking any option to flash the light but it still flashes when there is unread email on the phone. I did a soft-reset after making those changes.

Re: Stop Blinking!

Thanks darren.wlsn1!

Even though none of my options were grayed out I tried installing the Mightyrom one and it looks like it's working!

Using Verizon's stock MR2, Mighty's killed my keyboard backlight and CTRL/SHIFT LED's, too. Uninstalled and they are now working fine.

Haven't tried the other one yet.

Just FYI.

Re: Stop Blinking!

On a side note, the patched driver seems to not have the instructions needed for pocket mode and be polite feature to turn off vibration when they activate. These instructions are present in the original driver. It would be cool if those could be included.

A huge help. I came back to my phone and noticed I had missed a call and a few text messages all because vibrate wasn't working at all. Uninstalling the MM cab and soft resetting did the trick to bring the functionality back.

I can confirm that the Juggalo CAB works perfectly. Edit: Nevermind. That one at least lets you edit the option in Sounds & Notifications, but doesn't actually change the setting. The light still blinks.
