Re: WM6.5 Menu Style vs SPB Menu

What the problem is is this - once you disable Manila/Sense, you lose those menus, as they are a function of Sense. You can "tweak" that by going into the registry and editing/creating this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\HTCMenus EnableManilaCheck = 0 (dword) Give it a few seconds, then soft reset and all should be good. You are basically telling the Manila menus not to look for the program to run, just to go ahead and adapt the menus as if it were. ![]() |

Re: WM6.5 Menu Style vs SPB Menu
OK, so the Tweak worked, thank you!
It wouldn't take, then I realized that I needed to set the CUIHandler back to 1. Been missing the helpfulness of these forums. I had a 6700 that I tweaked then went to a Treo 800w and well, no ROMs were available but now with the TP2, I lasted all of 4 days before flashing... Again, much appreciated. |

Re: WM6.5 Menu Style vs SPB Menu
Thanks, I searched for about 2 days but couldn't come up with the terms that found me some answers. I now realize it was because I was assuming the menus were WM6.5 and not HTC. Had things flipped around.
Downloaded the cab for future but the reg edits are just as easy for me too. Thanks again. |
