Simple fix, CUSTOM ROM. and remember the TP was on WM 6 and 6.1 we are on 6.5 with Sense 2.5 it just uses more ram plain and simple.

MightyROM I have 100MB free on a fresh install. and that's 6.5.x with Sense 2.5 so ya, install a custom ROM that has more free memory at boot.

i usually dont like custom ROMS because of the boot screens they use,and because i can never get the mms working (back when i was on my tp) that mighty rom sounds good tho

It is, very solid and very lean, lot's of free ram and memory.

Thats what Im on mighty rom Im a do a soft reset and tell you the pecentage.Im just wondering could it be cause of ringtones ? I also have pics on my phone about 10, and then there are like 12 black and white shadow pics. I cant delete them, they say they are programs. Im at 73 percent with 52mb free.

I have the stock Sprint ROM but have the HTC task manager. I have the same problem with the camera unless i kill multiple programs running at the same time. I can kill individual programs with the HTC task manager. BUT, I have to say the camera is rather unreliable even with an excess of memory.
