When you say SOD ( sleep of death) you are referring to the device's refusal to come back from sleep mode yes? Because if you did that, you've done something neither Verizon nor HTC nor 99% of people who claim to know what to do, seemed to be able to do.

Quick question on Mr. X's fixed "stock" ROM. Do you need to HardSPL unlock your phone to flash it? I like the sound of a couple of the fixes mentioned in his version, but I have not unlocked my phone (have only had official Verizon ROMs on it), and plus had no issue using the MR2 update as provided by Verizon. I did notice (however) that the first boot after the flash took a lot longer than I expected. I almost thought my phone wasn't going to boot! Thanks!

yes, you must be hspl unlocked.

Just so everyone knows, cause I was a little leary of it, you CAN UNLOCK your TP2 with the stock MR2 update already flashed.
I started to reflash the MR1 update before unlocking but decided to try it without, and it worked fine, it dosen't even hard reset your phone.

I definatly reccoment X's version. It flashed perfect, no SOD so far, it has the correct HTC task manager included (the one I added in worked fine but the #'s were small and offset), and his Internet sharing fix works perfect and includes it in the pop up.

So, Thanks again to Mr.X for looking out for us Verizion people!

Verizon and HTC can't even fix the flip clock on the Home Screen from having to flip forward 1 hour and two minutes to show the correct time. But now none of the flip clock fixes seem to work on this ROM.

I love how they always mess more up than they fix.

That's not a bug, it's supposed to do that. It's a visual feature

awesome, I hate that stupid flip. Like there isn't enough wasted CPU on eyecandy.

lol...that is funny, but it's true that it's visual feature to show off the flip clock. i hate all the stupid visual affects that htc does. it's a waste. they dont even have fancy visual feature like that on windows 7. lol
