I installed it because it definitely looks cool, but it doesn't really add any functionality that wasn't already there. John |

Is there any reason you dont use touchpal 4.0? Seems to be the latest one. Im wondering if it gave you any problems on the touch pro 2 Swype 3.9 was horrible really slowed down my touch pro 2 |

Re: a non-stock keyboard that doesnt break sms input?
I tried 4.0 & hated it, most long time TP users do not like the changes they made in 4.0.
Both versions work perfectly in the TP2. I have Swype also as it came in my ROM, but I hate it (I just don't understand the appeal of that setup myself) John |

do you have a cab for the 3.5 touchpal (trial version of course). Tried 4.0 and didn't like it.

Re: a non-stock keyboard that doesnt break sms input?
Here are some TouchPal 3.5 screenshots:
showing T+ (their verson of T9, which is awesome): red/black skin that I made: showing the full qwerty: This is the KB I use 98% of the time (I use the hardware KB to enter URL's) After a bit of a learning curve, I can type INSANELY fast with TP John |

Re: a non-stock keyboard that doesnt break sms input?
With the T+ word correction, in 3.5 you have the option to "show word candidate inline" like it is doing in my SS.
I like this option a lot & leave it turned on. Cootek eliminated this feature in version 4.0 for some unknown reason. ~John |
