to factory default so it can be re programmed by *228

you can try this.
on the phone pad dial ##RTN and hit send. if that dont work, then dial ##RTN#. then hit menu restore. this will do a hard reset also, so backup if you need to.

your profile says htc 6800. is that what you're trying this on? also, what rom do you have on the phone?

oh...##RTN does not work on the verizon tp2. so maybe flash the telus stock rom and it might work. can you elaborate any on why you need to do this? cause ##RTN is the only easy reset option you can use. you can send me a private message if you want to discuss privately.
