Inbox forcing Opera to close

For some reason whenever I'm browsing in Opera, my message client will suddenly pop up on the screen to my "Inbox" page [it says synchronizing folders at the bottom when it does this]...sometimes I can simply hit the back button and return to my Opera window, but about 1/2 the time my Opera window & browser are completely closed, and I'll have to re-open Opera and start over. My wife noticed the other day that this also happens if I use the music tab (I always use S2P)...

Any ideas?

Re: Inbox forcing Opera to close

Check your memory state. When the memory usage is higher than 80-85% WM will shut down the app since there is not enough free memory to run both. Soft reset will fix.

I think I remember reading about how to keep your inbox from popping up when it auto-send/receives... I'll see if I can find it...

It's not that it's shutting down Opera (all the time) it's opening the Inbox window...most of the time I can hit the back button and be back to Opera, but quite often the opening of the Inbox window forces Opera to completely close, which I assume is a memory issue. It does it in my music tab, and did in while watching a movie in TCPMP...

Re: Inbox forcing Opera to close

Yep. That 's the behavior. It depends on the memory state. The Sense music tab is a high memory use application. It doesn't load until you press play the first time after the soft reset. From then on, it resides in memory since it assumes that you'll play music again soon. I usually wind up resetting the phone at least once per day. I have a soft reset utility that I use so I don't have to open the back all the time.
