Just go to mobile.wundergroundweather.com & type in your zipcode.

Their forecasts are super accurate & include radar.

I believe you meant to put http://m.wund.com/ right..??

Wirelessly posted (HTC Diamond: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) Sprint MP6950SP)

I also use gps weather radar and cool for showing the radar but it doesn't give forcasts. At least mine doesn't. ;)
I recommend the Weatherbug app on the marketplace. I believe there is a free and a more feature packed paid edition.

Last time I used weather bug (for the desktop) it was nothing but a malware to most AV's has it gotten any better?

yea, that's what I meant-thanks.

There is no need to install an app for this, just go to this site, enter your zipcode & bookmark it.

I click that link in Opera Mobile5 & it opens almost instantly, gives the most accurate forecasts that I have found & has animated radar.

I have tried everything listed in this post (GPSradar/weatherbug etc). This loads faster than any program & does EVERYTHING.

Any ideas?
also, when I went into settings, it kept pulling up memphis, tn when I tried to input my location manually.

edit: went outside with the phone and it did find me using gps (still couldn't get it to work just using towers). Having animated weather radar is nice, but it's pretty slow loading. Guess I'll stick with weatherbug for now. the hourly forecasts are pretty nice to have and allow me to plan my day.

You can load your location using city/town and state and it will find it, then I just update radar only, not location. When I'm camping and outside it will detect me with gps. And I only use it for radar, that's it, not hourly forecasting, etc, but to see when a line of storms is running through my area. As far as weather and hourly updates, GPS weather radar isn't good for that at all, just radar.

I am a big fan of weatherpanel. Have been using it since my i760. First thing I did when I got my TP2 was find a way to continue using weatherpanel. Took some patience and I had to edit one of the skins to take advantage of the extra space on WVGA screen but it came out nicely. Here is a pic of weathepanel integrated into sense replacing the standard weather tab:

I will try and get a tutorial post up sometime soon.

Since I was no longer using the HTC weather I also found a way to remove it from the home page for a cleaner look:

Ya there sometimes but more so Millstone or Plumb. if you can make it for slack tide the drift between Orient and the lighthouse is wicked productive.

Back on topic on topic: thanks for all the response guys (and gals) keep them coming I've been testing a few suggestions and there all great. :notworthy:
