Re: psShutXP v 0.29 ??
You have to make a shortcut to the .exe and name it one of the names below:
Long_PTT.lnk (push to talk button+long press) Long_End.lnk (the read key+long press) Long_Send.lnk (the green key+long press) Short_PTT.lnk (push to talk button) Long_Power.lnk (Power button +long press) Short_Power.lnk (Power button) I underlined the one you want, but you can also use any of the other options. Soft-reset, and you should now be able to shutdown your phone by holding the end key.

Re: psShutXP v 0.29 ??
What program do I use to make a shortcut? Does it work like it does in Windows 7? Is there a Regedit I can change for this instead?
THanks. |

Re: psShutXP v 0.29 ??
You can actually just navigate to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and find the pshutxp shortcut. Rename it to one of the file names I posted above, then copy that to \Windows. Soft-reset and it should work.

Re: psShutXP v 0.29 ??
Nope, that didn't work. I'm uninstalling the program. If it's this much problem to get it to work then I'm not interested. I just thought there would be an easy regedit or something in Mighty ROM that would let me re direct the red key.
THanks. |

Re: psShutXP v 0.29 ??
is it maybe the difference between Sprint and Verizon versions of the TP2?
Long_End maybe not customizable on Verizon TP2?

Re: psShutXP v 0.29 ??
I have the Verizon TP2. I didn't see that link in windows. I did make it and copy it there but no luck. I'm trying to use the Advanced_Configuration_Tool_v3.3 to edit the soft key on the left. I guess that's the best I can do. Maybe I'll start a different thread named "Hard key mapping" and see what that turns up.
Thanks for your help though. |
