LOL...sorry, not laughing at you, just laughing at JTAG'ing a TP2.

I've never heard of someone doing this, but I wouldn't doubt if it's possible. I'd wager that it would be easier for HTC to have just implemented a backdoor entryway into the firmware via the mini-USB port.

Can you get to the bootloader screen?

there is no bootloader on the phone i have taken it apart and im looking for jtag pins i created a few cables but i need a jtag program for them. i made a com1 cable to mini htc usb and made ltp1 cable with pins but dont know the pinout for phone and dont have a program
