Need Help with Email Settings

This should be easy, but I can't figure it out. How do I change the settings on my email so that I only bring in emails from the last 7 days? My phone is bringing in all emails from my Yahoo account and then freezing up because there are so many (>4000).

From your INBOX, tap "Menu", scroll to "Tools", scroll to "Options". Tap the account you want to modify and tap "Edit Account Setup". Keep tapping "Next" until you get to the "Automatic Send/Receive:" page the second box on that page is "Download messages:" dropdown box. I have mine set to get messages from the past 3 days but you can make it just todays messages. I'm on a custom ROM but the intructions should be about the same. Hope this helps.
