GPS not working on VZW TP2 w/MightyROM

I got this thing used with MightyROM already on it, don't know if the GPS ever worked. External GPS is set to Com4. GPSViewer appears to be talking to the chip, I get the same four lines of NEMA code repeated over and over forever (I've let it run 10 minutes), and the program says that there's no GPS fix. QuickGPS is up to date. I've tried different baud rates as suggested in another thread, no help. Any ideas?

flash the latest stock rom (MR1) and ensure you have the newest PRI 1.94 after. It should install when you flash cause it's part of the stock rom. get it here
