Re: What is the best protector to prevent cracks on the screen?

That really depends, How do you normally carry the phone? if your worried about the screen I would carry it in a full case that covers the screen something like a Hip case or a pouch, there are already several threads on this subject. try using the search feature and take a look at them. Nothing is going to save it if you Drop it and the screen is exposed. |

Re: What is the best protector to prevent cracks on the screen?
I baught this screen protector from Bell, two for 10$ and its pretty good, that you cut to your own size. Doesn't come unstuck in my pocket like the stock did, and the feel is amazing. Really slippery but controlled, I actually use it not to protect the screen, rather for i prefer the feel over the naked screen. Also, its impossible to leave a finger print. Just go to bell and get one, best you can buy IMO.

If you use something like the crystal clear boxwave protectors, it is just like having a naked screen.
The sticky/tacky versions like the zagg protect just fine, but totally ruin the feel/responsive feel of the touchscreen. ~John |

Re: What is the best protector to prevent cracks on the screen?
None of these traditional screen protectors will offer any protection against breaking.
You'll need some sort of case, pouch, holster with a cover over the screen. |

Re: What is the best protector to prevent cracks on the screen?
As everyone said, there is no real way to prevent the screen from breaking with a simple screen protector. The shock taken by the phone falling would not be dissipated by any screen protector.
Your best alternative is to just keep it safe in a case or holster. Personally, I prefer a holster clip like the seidio ones. I bought one like it made for the Verizon TP2, but also fits my sprint TP2. |

Re: What is the best protector to prevent cracks on the screen?
well, at least the screen is not made of glass like some capacitive screen which of course looks nice and possibly more slick, but more fragile. If you have it in a plastic case, most of the time your screen will be ok unless your phone screen falls directly onto a protruding object
