Re: Video Player on TP2
Did you use HTC's Encoder to convert the videos? I had a problem with any video I used Encoder to convert videos. On ANY rom before the Sprint version I didn't have any problem. When I installed the Sprint ROM that's when the problems began. The Videos wouldn't play any sound. I tried a few different ROMS based on the Sprint ROM and all has some type of problem. Some would Play video without sound, others would stutter and some would play the sound without video. This is withany player tha was installed on the device. They all did the same thing. All playing form the SD card. I then tried a 6.5.5 ROM and then it was fine. Finally at 21903 things were back to normal. The thing is the ROM messed something else up that wasn't video related. Now I'm using another 6.5.5 ROM and the Video plays but the sound doesn't ERRRRR!! The search begins again! Something about 21903 (no matter which ROM maker used it) works. I wish somene could analye the differences of the ROMS and I'd do it myself but I don't know the first step.

But it is possible even on PC sometimes a new update comes out to the format which might be minor but cp does not have it yet or etc... |

Re: Video Player on TP2
I am trying several different formats and I've used a converter on my pc to convert the files into different formats then transfer it to the SD card. I have gotten some files to play with no sound and others look like they start but the video freezes up and that's it. I want to stay on the stock rom since I like the way they have the favorites and home page setup now but I hate not being able to use all the features of my phone.

Re: Video Player on TP2
I think you are using tcpmp which has core on the program icon. Just a guess.

Re: Video Player on TP2
i would think that I am most likely using tcpmp with core on the icon and no, I have not installed development 3d acceleration drivers that I know of. Any way to check if it's tcpmp and not the actual coreplayer program?
