start my car using touch pro 2.

I have been amazed with windows mobile and how much i am able to do with tp2 but can i start my car using it?

as long as Viper (DEI) still has this option, you can do just about anything with it start your car, shut it off, open/close the windows from anywhere in the world as long as you have a phone signal, and a Viper alarm.
i had this around 2000-2002.
you have to pay for a monthly subscription

you can get the audiovox line of stuff, and the cl100 which just uses any phone... kind of like a pager, and it does not require a monthly fee. takes about 30 seconds respond time. but works rather well.

i had that Audiovox system for about a year...
And it stopped working about 2 months
after it was installed. I called them for
help and all i got was... The service is
temporarily down. Seaguard is the name
of the service. And all they have done is
rip people off... Including myself

I have had it for nearly 3 years i believe and it still works, I have taken it out of one car and put in another, flawlessly working still. there is a delay of course for the satellite to send the signal that you command. you should talk to whomever installed it and get in touch with safegaurd. I've spoken with them before in the begining and all is/was good.

Well, Its kind of a moot point now. Because both of my alarms
have kicked the bucket.. And the systems are gone. All they
did was mess with the car anyways.. Its a loooong story tho.

when i had this it didnt matter what kinda phone you had, i would just use any land line or cell phone to call.
then again this was about 8-9 years back
