Re: Quick GPS problem
How do I get to menu options? When I am in quick GPS I see options wich i have checked each one: download Satellites automatically, download satellites when roaming, and download satellites when connected to PC via activesync. My left softkey is "done" and my right softkey is "cancel". I don't see how to access the menu for Quick GPS to set it to automatically download when the data has expired.

Re: Quick GPS problem
You are in options if that is the screen you see. You have it set to download automatically.

Re: Quick GPS problem
Thanks for your help but my phone does not dowload automatically. After 7 days it will tell me that is expired and I will have to manually press the download button. I remember my old settings had an option to remind me when the data has expired but I can't seem to find that option anymore either. That is why I thought that there was another menu that I could not find.

Re: Quick GPS problem
I have similar issue with WM6.5 verizon rom.
I set it for automatic but whe it tries I get an error that AppToDate is not installed or is missing. Then have to do the update manually.

Re: Quick GPS problem
I actually haven"t used QGPS w/ my TP2 'cause I feel that GPS so far in my TP2 is actually MUCH improved compared to TP. There's no more continuous on and off disruption of GPS signal loch on that was plaguing my tp. On TP2 once there's GPS lock it pretty stay lock. Doesn't take more than a few sec to get assisted lock from tower signal. After that I can turn the phone part off and it Still stay lock.
Even w/o any assistance whats0ever, it will lock on and perform @least as good as my old Mogul GPS in term of position updating while driving. Don't know if its new driverlor WM6.5 that fix the GPS because hW chipset is same as TP. Maybe I got a broken TP in first place. Prob not.as I heard lots other people complained about this too. Just wonder if everyone elseagree TP2 GPS is much improved over TP1's |
