If you use the phone strictly for business fine ill even give you that.. outside of that I see zero benefit.
you're on a hero??? what happened to your nexus one. I thought it was the greatest phone ever???

To tell you the truth, I'm hoping the HTC Shadow or Mirage is the next Windows Mobile phone, destined for Sprint and SERO compatible. screw it, I'll stick it out with Win-Mo.

It looks like you are correct. I thought I read somewhere about either the Motorola mirage or the shadow having Windows Mobile.

Re: Check my math: Cost to move from a TP2 to an Evo

i doubt wp7 will end up on sero. I think the only reason they allowed the tp2 on sero is because they already had other winmo phones on it. since android was new, they could pull the whole "no legacy plans" crap with it. I'm guessing they'll do the same with the wp7 phones.

Re: Check my math: Cost to move from a TP2 to an Evo

If people are going to want the EVO bad enough they will pay for it, everyone can justify anything if they think about it long enough. as far as all the SERO user's Keep riding that gravy train because one day it will be gone.

+1. There are numerous reasons why they aren't going to let WP7 on SERO. And I think it's pretty unlikely we'll see much more come of WM6.5 devices. Even though MS says they'll continue selling, supporting, and even to an extent developing it, I don't think they'll be pushing it hard. I don't think device makers will see a lot of reason to invest in it, at least for the US market. And I don't think the carriers will be interested in carrying it alongside all the other smart phone platforms. So even if you want to ride SERO out, the TP2 is probably the end of the line.
