Re: Windows mobile 7 for Touch pro 2

Ugh. Not to mention (sorry, pet peeve here)...OP, when you post a question, can you end your thread title with a question mark? It is the best way to indicate that you're in fact asking a question and not proudly declaring that you worked furiously in your basement for 3 weeks and ported a working prelim build of WP7 to your TP2.

Windows 7 on TP2

I know its been addressed before, but my question is a little different. I understand that windows 7 won't have an official upgrade for us. The same thing was said about windows mobile 6.5 on the Touch Pro. The question is, since we have a lot of really smart people here can't it be ported to the phone somehow? I looked through the Touch Pro forums a few days ago and they have basically the Touch Pro 2 on there with Sense 2.5. Its just a question be easy on me

It MAY work, yet it will run ridiculously slow on our devices

Really? you could not post this in the thread That was already made today about the same thing?

Until you See it on one the answer would be No, the TP2 Does not have the hardware capable of running WP7 This has been stated on every thread about this topic.

Re: Windows mobile 7 for Touch pro 2

Threads merged.

Please search before starting threads on this.

winpho7 WILL NOT be coming to the pro2 any time soon, if ever. The first device they are trying to port it is the HD2. Non-Snapdragon processors will have a very hard time even attempting to run it (not to mention porting).

To follow the winpho7 porting scene keep an eye on the threads found here
