As far as disabling one-touch dialing, one option is to disable the People tab.
Thanks mstevens.

Understood on the signature, however, work has a standardized email signature format that everyone has to use for our Outlook email - so recipients that don't have those capabilities wont see it when I send an email from my desktop either. Not my doing it is a company thing... It isn't a significant modification, just a few color and font type/size company "branding" changes. I just wanted to match the sig on my mobile to my standardized company desktop version.

I already have the People tab removed. I’m referring to the issue of the phone automatically dialing when I inadvertently tap a previous call line when trying to scroll through the previous calls list or when I receive an email and the phone icon to call that person is in the email header directly adjacent to the OK tab to exit that screen in the right hand corner and the phone tab is tapped instead. Just wondering if the phone could be set to dial out only when the CALL or TALK tab is selected not automatically when any contact, previous call, or email header icon is tapped, especially in screens other than the phone screen? Or maybe a hold function – press and hold that tab for a second or two to select instead of a mis-fingered tap (I know… that’s what the girl said at the picnic).

As indicated, these may be limitations (or features depending on your needs) of the phone that I will adjust to with further use.

Thanks again - E
