WinMo 6.1 or 6.5 for Sprint TP 2

Hello All

I have a newbie question for all of you. I just got my Sprint TP 2 and it has WinMo 6.1 installed on it. I got this because of what I was told at my local store by a technician there. I traded back in (under 30 day rule) for this phone,and really like how it operates as compared to the Hero I had.

My question for those here seems to me a simple one,but it might be more of a minor preference thing with all of you,and I don't know wither I should upgrade or not. So,which is the best OS a newbie like me should start out with..the 6.1 version or the 6.5 version? Is the latest version with all of the tweaks available here more stable than the stock 6.1 version I have now?

Play around with the 6.1, get used to it, see what you like and don't like about it, and then upgrade to 6.5 stock and compare the two. If you find you like 6.1 better, you can go back to that, or stick with 6.5. Then you can also look into custom roms both 6.1 and 6.5, or even the 6.5.x's that are out. But once you've played around with both 6.1 and 6.5 you'll know more what you want and don't want and which one offers you more of what you want/need on your phone.

I'd say just go after the Official 6.5 update off the HTC site because about 95% of the new roms are based off of that it seems like, so anything you mess with if you ever decide to join the dark side of flashing and shit you'll already have a feel for what's out there... Just my opinion anyways =)

However, 6.1 did always seem a bit snappier but it's outdated now so it's all on you lol, I just like being up to date...

I would say try the upgrade to 6.5 that is where most of the focus is around here. there are still people using 6.1 but I would say the majority are running 6.5 with Sense 2.5.
