I'm one of the unfortunates, where I still can't get a signal; infinite "Locating"
My Sprint TP2 is on the stock 6.5 I downloaded from m.bing... Loaded to my main memory In Bing settings, changed to Com4 Under Setting, Location: it's on & HTC location service is checked Under System, External GPS: GPS program port is set to Com 4 Under Quick GPS: I'm not using Auto Download, but I did a successful manual download Stood outside for 10 minutes ![]() No connection Any other recommendations ? Update: Without making any additional changes, it now works Last edited by LGCubana; 06-12-2010 at 06:25 AM. Reason: update |

Re: New version of Bing GPS not working on my TP2
I've had the same problems. Had to disable/enable all of the GPS settings. the program is buggy, but the best thing available. The locate me wouldnt work with mine, even though actual navigation would work on occassion.

Re: New version of Bing GPS not working on my TP2
Op, many users have had the same problems that you're experiencing. In order to fix it, you have to update quickGPS and then soft reset your phone. When I did this, it worked fine from then on.
Oh and by the way, I have my GPS set to the default "GPS Intermediate Driver." If you soft reset and it still doesn't work, then try setting your GPS back to that setting. Let me know if it works.
